Still have noise problems in your cheap soundcard? Have you tried all the CheapNoiseSoftwareTips? If not, try some of these hardware tips.

• Check the VideoCard.
• Investigate DMASharing.
• Is the noise ACHum?
• Make sure to TerminateCables.
• Check your CDROMcables.
• Use GoodCables in general.
• Try moving your soundcard to a DifferentSlot.
• Keep your disk drive cables well away from the soundcard. Sometimes they radiate noise into the analog circuitry.
• Last resort: rig up a StupidShield on your soundcard.
