The soundcard information is currently organized in five categories:

• Professional (expensive) soundcards and interfaces that are well supported: GoodProCards
• Professional (expensive) soundcards and interfaces that have limited or buggy support or are otherwise not worth using: ProblematicProCards
• Consumer (cheap) soundcards that might be worthwhile: GoodConsumerCards
• Consumer (cheap) soundcards that are a waste of your time: ProblematicConsumerCards
• Cards which cannot run on Linux at all: NotSupported

You can also view a complete (hah!) list of all cards in all categories: AllLinuxSoundcards
