Cards with Good MIDI Performance

I don't claim to know much about this issue, but apparently most soundcards have a flawed MIDI design. Jaroslav Kysela (of the ALSA project) reports that:

"...the problem is in the MPU-401 hardware specification. This hardware haven't the TX interrupt. Every soundcard with the standard MPU-401 emulation has this problem. "
