OK, you've finally killed that horrible noise in your signal path. (Or maybe you haven't ... see AudioTopics). Now you're finding that your soundcard sometimes sounds garbled, or loses a few precious moments of your recording or playback, or maybe it just has a huge delay between when you send the input and when you hear the output. That's what this section is for.
